A bit more snow

Well, we did get some snow, but not nearly what was called for. I think we are at about 2 inches at about 7 p.m. This is right in line with what I predicted. Most of what did fall in our area has melted. I may have to do a bit of shoveling when I get home from work, just in an effort to avoid it icing up later. Temperatures hovered in the mid 30s, so sidewalks were sloppy. For tomorrow, it looks like a big high pressure dome is settling in over the midsection of the country. I'm calling for clear skies and temperatures pretty similar to a little warmer than today with the sun. But we are still stuck in a trough in the jet stream, so no mid-50s yet.
