It's cooling off out there. With the day off, but class in the middle of the day, I had two runs planned today. The first one, at 10 a.m., was pleasant enough. It was chilly, but the wind wasn't awful in the woods. By the time my second run rolled around at 3 p.m., the wind out of the northwest had picked up and made it feel quite a bit cooler, especially when it was aimed directly at my face. I noticed the temperature hadn't dropped too much, from about 16 early, to 14 when I was done with the later run, but the wind chill made the last run feel like it wasn't much above 0. It was also quite cloudy all day, with just a bit of sun peaking through.
My guess is that tomorrow is going to be colder than today. These winds out of the north have been blowing this cold air in quite frequently recently. Blame Canada.
