Today warmed up fairly quickly. It was in the low single digits when I went out for my run, with wind chills well below zero. The wind doesn't feel terrible in the woods, but cold is still cold. When I finished, the temperature had increased by about 10 degrees, but with a 10-15 mph wind out of the west, it still felt plenty cold.
Cloud cover varied throughout the day. It was sunny early, but clouds moved in later. It cleared up for a time again, but as I was on my way back to work after diner at about 7 p.m., it looked like clouds had rolled in again.
With clouds tonight to keep in whatever heat we have, and a wind out of the west-southwest, I would predict tomorrow to be warmer than today.
